We're delighted to be running a licensed Makaton Level 1 Workshop this September in Thornbury,  Bristol, South Gloucestershire.

Whether you're a parent, family member, teacher, teaching assistant, support worker or healthcare professional, this workshop provides a practical introduction to using Makaton signs and symbols to support communication.

During the workshop you'll:

• Learn everyday signs and symbols from Stages 1 and 2 of the Core Vocabulary.
• Build confidence using Makaton in real-life situations.
• Explore practical communication strategies you can start using straight away.
• Receive an official participant's manual and certificate from The Makaton Charity.
