Welcome to Better Communication Together CIC
We’re here to make communication easier and more fun for everyone. Whether you're looking to learn Makaton, book a licensed Makaton workshop, or improve communication within your organisation, we're here to help. We deliver licensed Makaton training for nurseries, schools, colleges, healthcare teams, care providers, charities, community organisations and families.
Led by Nicola Pike, a Licensed Makaton Tutor and Ambassador with more than 40 years' experience, Better Communication Together CIC supports families, professionals and organisations to communicate with confidence.
Based in Thornbury, we deliver face - to - face Makaton training across Bristol and South Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. We also run online training and groups across the UK, so no one misses out.
By using signs, symbols, and creative approaches, we help people build communication skills, confidence, and connection in ways that are practical and enjoyable.
As a Community Interest Company, we’re passionate about making communication inclusive, joyful, and empowering.
We believe in co-production: people with lived experience are at the heart of what we do, whether co-facilitating sessions or sharing their journeys with our training partners.
