A little bit of exciting news… Better Communication Together CIC is now Makaton Friendly!
Although I'm a Makaton Tutor, I decided to apply for Makaton Friendly status particularly for the activity side of Better Communication Together and all the brilliant people who come along to our groups.
For me, becoming Makaton Friendly just feels like a really good fit with what our activities are all about - communication, inclusion and making sure everyone has the opportunity to be involved.
One of the things that matters most to me is that the people who come to our activities have a real say in what we do. Your ideas, suggestions, feedback (and occasional very definite opinions! 😄) help shape the activities and what we do next.
So this feels like a lovely milestone for Better Communication Together and for our growing programme of activities.
